Erbaviva Jasmine & Grapefruit Organic Deodorant (HK$285/100ml)
Claim: this USDA certified organic spray combines grain alcohol and fragrant essential oils to reduce perspiration and combat underarm bacteria.

Acca Kappa White MossDeodorant Stick (HK$220/75ml)
Claim: alcohol-free and formulated for sensitive skin, this works gently to prevent formation of odours. It leaves a musk fragrance reminiscent of juniper and lavender.

Vichy 48Hr Deodorant (HK$120/50ml)
Claim: a no-trace anti-perspirant formulated with aluminium salt to provide protection for up to two days.

Verdict: All three products are long-lasting and managed to help keep any odour or excessive perspiration under control, despite the heat and humidity. Vichy's handy roll-on dries quickly, leaving the underarms fresh and comfortable. Acca Kappa's White Moss Deodorant Stick is a fat slab of clear hard gel which can feel a bit sticky on the skin, but it has the most pleasant scent. We like Erbaviva's Jasmine & Grapefruit Organic Deodorant best, as it feels light and natural on the skin. The chemical free mist's woody scent didn't last for the whole day, but its odour prevention worked even after a particularly sweaty walk on a stuffy night.
