Your weekly fashion fix with Valentino, McQueen and Paula Cademartori

Daniel Kong

Alexander McQueen was ever the dreamer, conjuring up fantastic creations that seemed to come from another era, and his legacy has been carried on by creative director Sarah Burton. The brand's latest resort jewellery collection is no exception. Top picks include the gold-tone Swarovski crystal earrings (above right; HK$5,900), the double skull crystal cuff (above left; HK$2,385) and the silver-and-gold-tone crystal ring (top left; HK$3,900). Alexander McQueen is available at net-a-porter.com.

Star fairy Valentino's latest ready-to-wear collection transports us to a dreamy world of fairy tale gardens, filled with blossoming flowers and butterflies. If you fancied yourself as a fairy princess as a child, these pieces are a grown-up version you are sure to love. On our wish list is the denim jumpsuit (above right; HK$35,000), the black floral dress (above left; HK$69,500) and the combo of jacket (HK$55,500) and shorts (HK$19,300; both above, centre). Valentino is available at Harvey Nichols, The Landmark, Central.

Flying colours Brazilian-Italian Paula Cademartori's latest collection is a vibrant, colourful taste of the good life. Our favourites include the Sylvie large star appliqué clutch (right; HK$16,200), the oxblood leather satchel (above left; HK$10,250) and the Kate mini chain bag (above right; HK$11,700). Paula Cademartori is available at Lane Crawford, IFC Mall, Central.
