Hong Kong has seen its fair share of political protest from annual Tiananmen Square vigils to outright clashes with police over the last 17 years as a Special Administrative Region of China. Grievances vary from year to year, but calls for universal suffrage, freedom of speech and the protection of the rule of law remain constant.

Considering that the PRC has since 1947 MURDERED millions of Chinese Citizens, has warred against it's peaceful neighbors, both Tibet and Vietnam, and has also murdered it's youth who were peacefully protesting in Tiananmen Square in Beijing, these Pro-Democracy Demonstrations in Hong Kong mean NOTHING to them! The "50 years of Democracy" SCAM was merely another ploy of the CCP to gain control over a highly successful group of Chinese which they previously had NO control over! If the people of Hong Kong were organized prior to 1997, they would have DEMANDED that Great Britain offer them the status of an Independent Colony like Jamaica within the British Commonwealth, but too many believed the lies of the PRC and that option was never considered! Now it's too late, Hong Kong BELONGS to China, now 17 years later the Hong Kong middle class is destroyed by cheap labor Mainlanders taking their jobs, the former Colony is grossly POLLUTED and the ONLY hope for those with money is to LEAVE! The rest will be like the poor Mainlanders within less than 10 years!
