Four dead, one injured after brick kiln collapses in southwest China

Four people were killed and another seriously injured when a kiln collapsed at a brick works in southwest China on Saturday, Chongqing Broadcasting Network Television reports.
A kiln collapsed at 4:30pm, burying the victims beneath a heap of debris, witnesses said.

Firefighters found the seriously injured surviver, a 59-year old man, near the mouth of the kiln. With the help of an excavator, rescuers found the bodies of the other victims, the oldest being a woman aged 69.
Local work safety officials were investigating the cause of the accident.
Nobody had been detained or arrested after the tragedy.
