Mercedes

Mercedes-Benz is part of German manufacturer Daimler AG, and the brand is used for luxury automobiles, buses, coaches, and trucks. The name first appeared in 1926 under Daimler-Benz but traces its origins to Daimler's 1901 Mercedes and to Karl Benz's 1886 Benz Patent Motorwagen, widely regarded as the first automobile.

The latest row engulfing Formula One could end up going before another hearing after Red Bull and Ferrari launched official protests against Mercedes, alleging the team breached rules by conducting in-season tyre testing with manufacturer Pirelli following the Spanish Grand Prix two weeks ago.

So, he's gone and done it. It's just as well that Lewis Hamilton can handle pressure because all eyes will be on him in the paddock in Japan after his defection to Mercedes. It's going to take a lot of mental strength to cope with all the attention and then step into the car of a team you have turned your back on.

Hamilton to replace Schumacher – Mercedes
