Chow Yun-fat (left) turned the tables on snap-happy reporters at a function to honour the Hong Kong film industry by whipping out his own camera and taking pictures of them. Guests of the official party held by Chief Executive Tung Chee-hwa at Government House last week, were also amused when the actor trained his lenses on them as well, and even the host himself was seen posing happily for the star. The Hong Kong and Hollywood star took up photography as a hobby recently and has been spending his free hours roaming the country parks and hills, clicking away at the picturesque landscapes. 'I can't photograph people because ultimately they end up taking pictures of me,' Chow says. The Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon star has also set up his own darkroom at home where he processes his own photographs. At the moment, the actor is looking at several Hollywood projects but says that 'nothing is confirmed'. Two roles that are near to being given the green light are Bulletproof Monk, developed by John Woo, and Waiting, an adaptation of Ha Jin's novel by Peter Chan Ho-sun.
