Athlete born to a swimming family

Fu Wing was born to a swimming family. His father, Fu Tai-chun, is a former national swimmer for China.

Fu learned how to swim at the age of three and started training at the age of six. Having trained for 15 years, he is now the fastest swimmer in Hong Kong and holds two national short course records: 50- metre and 100 m freestyle.

A recipient of the Sports Aid Foundation Fund, Fu has devoted himself to training after finishing his Form Five studies. He believes he will make another breakthrough in his sport in the near future.
