Queen's College 10 As trio shares secrets of success

While La Salle College may have stolen the limelight in this year's Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) coverage with their four 10 As students, Queen's College, did not fare too badly with three 10 As boys.

Science student Yau Siu-chung, Kong Wai-yip and Wong Yee-lok, all 16, of Queen's College, are the distinguished ones scoring 10 As.

Siu-chung, who got A(1)s in Chinese Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Computer Studies and Art and A(2)s in English Language and Economics, never thought he would do so well.

'My classmates told me that I got 10 As but I didn't believe them until I got the results slip,' he said.

Accompanied by his whole family to get his results, Siu-chung said his parents never gave him any pressure and he was grateful for their support.

Yee-lok got A(1)s in Chinese Language, Economics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Computer Studies and Principles of Accounts and A(2) in English Language.
