Having closed for 10 months, the Warehouse Teenage Club is back after a grand and festive open day featuring hip-hop dancing, band performances, exhibitions and workshops.

The youth organisation located at the former Aberdeen police station, underwent reconstruction and renovation last year.

Some had the impression that the 10-year-old organisation had closed its doors for good.

But operations manager Miranda Ng Leung Mun-ling said: 'We would like to tell the public and our members that we are still here by having the open day.'

Founded by Frank White in 1992, the organisation aims to provide a healthy hang-out for youngsters aged from 13 to 25 and an atmosphere that nurtures creativity and an interest in art.

Known for its high-quality studio at affordable prices and bustling skateboarding scene, the club added two darkrooms, a ceramic workshop, a computer room and a hostel. The coffee shop was also made over.
