IT'S 9PM and veteran Commercial Radio DJ Jan Lamb Hoi-fung is ready to head home after a hard day's work. But for creative partner Chang Tze-hin, aka Siu Hak, his day has just begun.
It is this simple fact that inspired the two to collaborate on a new radio drama called Day And Night. This star-studded project - featuring Canto-pop singers Jacky Cheung Hok-yau and Sandy Lam Yik-lin - premieres today at 8.30 am on Commercial Radio Two and will be repeated at 11.30 pm.
'Jan and I are from two different worlds - he's active in the day and I'm active at night,' Siu Hak told Young Post.
The two first joined forces last year to pen Pigeon Garden, a radio drama set in ancient China.
'The last time we collaborated, we only had several hours each evening to work together,' said Siu Hak. It was a hit with their listeners.
The story of Day And Night spans from the 1980s to present day. It is a tale of love thwarted by numerous obstacles and accidents.
'This time the story will give people a sense of helplessness, and inspire them to think about whether some things are destined to happen,' said the 27-year-old.
