Early Hong Kong Brothels

Extended by popular demand, the exhibition features photographs from the 1850s to 1960s from the collection of Hong Kong historian Cheng Po-hung. The city's earliest brothels were found in and around Lyndhurst Terrace in Central, where western prostitutes worked, while Chinese brothels were located around Tai Ping Shan.
