Linkin Park finally arrived in Hong Kong last Thursday. Although the concert lasted only 75 minutes, it was an amazing and enjoyable night for hardcore Linkin Parkers.
Mike Shinoda and his group wowed the crowd with the best songs from their two albums, Hybrid Theory and Meteora, while singer Chester Bennington satisfied his fans with his angry and ear-splitting vocals.
The biggest surprise came when they opened their latest single Breaking the Habit with a mellow solo by Bennington backed by Shinoda's piano - it unexpectedly sounded better than the original version.
Unfortunately, like other concerts at the Convention Centre, the sound system was bad and fans standing in the front could hardly hear Bennington and Shinoda's voices.
As expected, it was not a full-house because of the high ticket prices, and only the cheapest seats ($450) were sold out.
We met the band after the show and they sent Young Post readers the message below.
