The seized clothing, worth around $150,000, was falsely labelled with more than 10 well-known brands.

A man and three women, aged 21 to 50, were arrested. They were granted bail pending further investigations, the spokesman said.

Customs? Intellectual Property Investigation Bureau carried out the operation on Monday after a week-long investigation.

Initial investigations showed that advertisements had been put in various newspapers to attract customers to the sale, a spokesman added.
