Music showcase at harbour city

Harbour City is hosting a cultural event for young musicians to show off their talents.

Music in the City not only provides an opportunity for up-and-coming musicians to hone their skills by performing in public, it also gives them a chance to meet other young artists and share ideas with them.

The event has raised the profile of some promising new artists. These include Phoebus Chan, winner of the first Award for Young Artists, Poon Nan, who has released two albums, and Denis Ng, whose second CD is coming out soon.

The event also allows people with other artistic talents besides music to display their work.

The event kicks off with an opening ceremony on July 5.
