When architect Alexander Wong launched his book, he did it in style. At a party for his tome Naked + White at the bath and kitchen emporium Colour Living in Wan Chai last month, he had the red carpet out to welcome a crowd of partygoers wanting to wish him well.
Metro Radio's Kam Kwok-leung and Denise Lau were co-hosts, and the evening featured models such as Mr Hong Kong runner-up Rocky Cheng Kin-lok in a bathrobe, and Canadian female champion kick-boxer Joey Lee demonstrating her lethal kicks.
Not that the book was over-shadowed. Wong, who was dressed all in black before switching to an all-white shirt and trousers, made the rounds signing almost every copy given out to attendees and media members.
Guests included Vanessa Yeung Tsang, Rosemary Vandenbroucke, Jenny Mak Lau, Leo Fan, Susan Sng, Anna Yau Hoi-man, Christie Wo Man-shan and Christine Ng Wing-mei.
