Cuisine: Italian - no pizza, but seafood and oysters from around the world.

Price: $300 per person including  a  mocktail.

Ambience: Oceanna is cosy  with a relaxed atmosphere. Near  the entrance is an oyster bar displaying the  bivalves available that day. There are some booths  on the  sides of the restaurant   that offer a more private area.

Pros:  The wide variety of delicious oysters. And the staff  were attentive and courteous.

Cons: The serving size of some dishes - the promotional item of lasagne with Dungeness crab  and prawns ($168) was tasty, but it could have been bigger.

Recommended dishes: The lobster ravioli ($158) with cheese and tomato sauce  was appealingly presented. Unlike typical ravioli, they were  circular.  Lobster meat and vegetables were wrapped  in a thick, elastic pasta skin  that resembled those used for Chinese dumplings. The  oysters we tasted ($15 each) were all fresh with distinctive flavours. The Bald Eagles from the  US were smooth and fatty  with firm meat, the Tasmanian from Australia were mildly salty and sweet,  and the Irish Gigas were creamy and slightly salty.

What else? Oceanna has  a  promotion  until November offering  crabs from all over the world. Australian mud crab is  the highlight this month,  and Shanghai hairy crabs and French  crabs will be available in the coming months. There's a private room for about 10 people.
