What is it?
A hair removal substance that looks like - and has the consistency of - wax, but is a sugaring product, its makers say. MOOM, from Canada, doesn't need heating and is made from 100 per cent natural botanical ingredients, including chamomile, lemon, tea tree oil, sugar and water.
What's so good about it?
The Hong Kong distributor says it leaves no residue on the skin and is safe and gentle. Skin is said to stay smooth for up to eight weeks (with wax, it's about three weeks) because MOOM removes the root. Re-useable strips and applicators come with it. It's suitable for both women and men.
How do I use it?
Apply a fine layer to hair on an area such as the underarm. Press an area of the strip then pull it off quickly against the direction of the hair. It's painless.
