Exploring his son's heritage

America's Next Top Model judge Nigel Barker is back in town. He was here a few months ago to shoot some work for Henderson Land's new CentreStage development in SoHo. Now he's back for promotion.

Thanks to the high profile provided by Tyra Banks' show, even real estate companies want to cosy up to this 'noted fashion photographer'.

'I hate that term now,' Barker cringes. However, this trip has special meaning. His wife back in New York is Guangzhou-born model Cristen Chin and they are expecting their first son in November. 'I am part Sri Lankan too, so Asia is a part of me. My son is going to have Chinese blood so it's important for me to know his heritage and this part of the world is a part of him.'
