Spanish armada
1-MIN READ1-MIN
Holy Columbus! If you see an old Spanish ship in Victoria Harbour tomorrow, don't be alarmed. We're not being invaded by the Spaniards or pirates of the Caribbean. It's just a replica of the Nao Victoria, the first Spanish ship to circumnavigate the globe from explorer Ferdinand Magellan's expedition in 1519.
The ship is here to commemorate Spain's navigation history and to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the discovery of the Americas. It will be docked at Ocean Terminal, Harbour City, from tomorrow until Sunday.
