Thanks to all those cable-television food networks, it seems everybody is a cook now. The latest to get in on the trend is Chanel fashion consultant Claudia Shaw d'Auriol (left). She and friend Dominica Yang are releasing their own cookbook this week called Delicious, but the glamour girl insists her interest in food has nothing to do with latest trend. 'Both Dominica and I are always in the kitchen and we come from families that are all foodies. It's a hobby for me.'
The book includes 60 recipes, both western and Chinese. Shaw is also quick to point out that there are some dishes anyone can cook. 'It's home cooking, tasty food you'd be happy to come home to, not nouveau cuisine where you just have two little pieces of something. We have no formal training. Anyone can make it at home without having gone to a cordon bleu course. Basically, if Yan can, I figure we can too.'
