Sue Devitt's main beauty tip for Hong Kong women this winter is to hydrate the skin every day.
'People don't understand how important it is,' she says. 'It makes the skin look more supple.'
When Devitt appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show last year to advise women on how to look 10 years younger, she stressed the importance of using an anti-ageing product first thing in the morning, or a primer under foundation, 'something that has ceramides or peptides that rebuild the collagen and therefore rebuild the complexion'.
'That's the beginning. Once you've got the foundation right, use great neutrals and take the less-is-more approach.'
She says a primer that gradually reduces the over-production of sebum is ideal for humid weather.
Avoid dark lip liners, and go for cheek gels that give the right amount of shine if applied to the 'apple of the cheekbone'.
