What is it?

A place where you can dress up, lengthen or colour your eyelashes in  a bar-like atmosphere - without the alcohol. It started in the US and  has now come to the  APM in Kwun Tong.

What do they do to your lashes?

You can have plain old falsies applied,  or go for something more dramatic, such as umbrella lashes  or even fur lashes.  There are 30 new varieties and lash-styling services.

Why would I want to have different kinds of lashes?

They say a long pair makes your eyes look bigger, and a good eyelash curl can work wonders on tired eyes. The lashes can be customised to fit your eyes. If you want natural-looking lashes, perhaps a pair of metallic pink ones aren't for you. Many celebrities swear by fake lashes. And everyday people can get started  by learning how to style their own.

What can I get for a special occasion?

There are plain blacks  and browns (black for glamorous, brown for elegant, they say), a combination of blue and black, slanted red and blue lashes that are added to the corner of the lash area to widen the sides of the eyes, metallic pink and green, fleurs black (looped eyelashes, like flowers), feathery pink, dazzling diamante and classic diamante, snow drops and slant snow drops for top or bottom lashes.

Do I need to make an appointment?

No, but if you want  the staff to apply them  for you, you have to  buy a pair of the lashes beforehand. For the makeup service, it's best to make an appointment.

How much do the lashes cost?

They're all $85 a set, whether they're plain black or dazzling diamante. And they can

be re-used.
