Balancing chakras is often incorporated into other healing treatments, many of which are available in Hong Kong.
If you want to learn more about chakras specifically, there are plenty of books, websites, DVDs and CDs dedicated to the belief.
The Beginner's Guide to the Chakras (by Anodea Judith) is a 73-minute CD offering information about the 'underlying energy dynamics of the chakra system, as well as a guided meditation through the chakras and explanations of each one'. It can be found on amazon.com.
The book Wheels of Life, also by Judith, is considered a classic when it comes to explaining chakras for the western lifestyle. It contains information about each chakra, simple exercises and practical information about living a more relaxed life. It's also available on amazon.
There's also Chakras for Beginners (by David Pond) and The 7 Healing Chakras: Unlocking Your Body's Energy Centres (by Brenda Davies).
Jenny Lethbridge, from Zama International, can be contacted on 9151 3190. She'll be giving free, 10-minute demonstrations of the crystal-healing bed (said to be an intense form of chakra healing) at the Holistic Fair, 11am-7pm, December 4, Xinhua Book City, 3/F
