If your idea of sophisticated furniture is Ikea, then you might have a browse of the newly renovated Ruttonjee Centre. Tucked away on Duddell Street, the facelift by architect Edward Leung is finally finished on Hong Kong's premier commercial arcade for high-end home decor shops. The unveiling took place on Monday and included a showing off of a new mosaic artwork by Romanian artist Delia Pracki in the lobby. The rest of the mall, to our untrained eyes, still looks more or less the same, except for new marble tiles and glass. No matter, we can still check out the comfy Italian sofas in Andante, the shiny kitchen counters in Bulthaup and other nice furnishings we could never fit into our shoebox apartment.
