Tsai goes back to school

Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai Yi-lin recently realised her dream of being a school teacher.

The singer has just released her second English language-learning book, Vocabulary 2000.

To promote the publication, the singer spent a day teaching Taiwanese kindergarten students.

'I had to talk to the teachers to find out what levels the children were at,' Tsai said. 'They taught me some simple dance moves to play with the kids.'

The 25-year-old, who majored in English at university, released her first language-learning book, Jolin English Diary Book, last year.

She said it was her ambition to establish an English language school one day. However, Tsai admitted she wasn't good at handling very young children.
