Vinci Wong Yin-chi (right) wants to clear the air once and for all. At the Swank Shop's spring and summer show on Tuesday night, the mild-mannered TVB host let loose to defend himself and some actress friends who've been maligned by paparazzi rumours and gossip.
The latest slur was against former Miss Hong Kong contestant turned cooking show host Fiona Yuen Choi-wan (below), whose engagement to Thomas Jefferson Wu, son of Sir Gordon Wu Ying-sheung, was broken off after she was spotted with Wong at another fashion function last week and then later quoted as saying she wanted to marry someone rich.
'I've known Fiona Yuen for 10 years now,' Wong said. 'If there is anything between us, it would have happened already. She's a very true person, not one who likes to party to look for rich men. It's unfair to her.
'It's ridiculous that I finally make it on to a magazine cover for such a stupid reason. I'm not the third person in a love triangle.'
