The start of spring heralds  a rush of new flirty fragrances.

Try some of these when the weather warms up.

1. Dior Addict 2 Girly Collector  limited edition ($310/20ml, $440/50ml) is a tangy reinterpretation of the original scent. There are hints of freesia, grapefruit, pomegranate, white musk and sandalwood in a girlie pink version of the  Addict bottle.  It's available from all Dior counters.

2. Luciano Soprani's Donna eau de toilette ($295/30ml, $395/60ml) comes in a  stylish bottle  and is a mix of bergamot, mandarin and peach, ideal for a springtime soiree.  Enhance it with a body lotion ($220/150ml) and shower gel ($200/250ml). Available from New World Department Store, Tsim Sha Tsui.

3. Sisley's Eau du Soir   ($650/30ml, $900/50ml, $1,360/100ml)  is a timeless scent - fruity with a musky middle note and best suited to those  who like the classics.  Available from all Sisley counters.

4. Hugo Boss Pure Purple for women  ($445/50ml, $585/90ml) comes in a less-than-feminine bottle but has the sweet, lingering scent of black violet and white marzipan. Light but unmistakable, it is set to be a big hit this summer. Available from Sogo, Causeway Bay, and Lane Crawford stores.

5. Escada's Pacific Paradise  ($570/100ml, $410/50ml) is packaged to appeal to surfer girls and poolside princesses.  It's a   sweet  fragrance that only the young and young at heart should   wear. With hints of coconut sorbet, banana flower and Victorian pineapple,  it should worn in a tropical setting.
