What is it?
The cosmetic arm of the Anna Sui global fashion empire, created by American-born Chinese Sui, who's known for her quirky, sometimes art nouveau, sometimes 'old romantic' designs.
What does she make?
Lipsticks that come in shiny black, rose-carved tubes, shimmering eye colours in small black rose-topped tubs, eye-popping shades of nail polish and a range of scents, including her new, particularly feminine offering: Dolly Girl on the Beach - a newer version of her Dolly Girl scent.
That sounds more girly than vampish glamour
The new fragrance's image is that of a sun-kissed blonde jumping around in the Maui sunshine. Dolly Girl on the Beach has hints of lemon, bergamot and apple, and Sui says it's not just for happy-go-lucky teens. 'It's not an age group thing,' Sui says. 'I think it's for a kind of spread of ages.'
Why the move into cosmetics?
