Movie fans can take heart that this year's Oscar-winning best picture Crash is finally coming to Hong Kong. Edko Films will pick up the movie by Paul Haggis and release it on June 22.

'It was very expensive but it is a very good-quality film, so we finally decided to purchase it for the Hong Kong audience,' says an Edko spokesman.

The drama, featuring an ensemble of actors, including Matt Dillon, Sandra Bullock, Thandie Newton and Don Cheadle, is about the racially charged city of Los Angeles. It was an underdog at the Academy Awards and surprised all by beating Ang Lee's Brokeback Mountain for the top prize. Now, you can finally see it on the big screen - assuming you haven't already seen it on DVD.
