Feel It ... Say It (IIA) (Cantonese): DJ-actor Eric Kot Man-fai stars  in this romance as a popular dermatologist who specialises in venereal diseases. Singer Candy Lo Hau-yam plays his assistant. Tiffany Li and Anson Leung also star. Bennie Chan directs. LKW

My Date with Drew (IIA):  Aspiring filmmaker Brian Herzlinger tries to arrange a  date with his childhood idol,  Drew Barrymore, within 30  days of winning US$1,100 on  a TV game show, for the budget  of this personal documentary. Herzlinger directs with Brett  Winn and Jon Gunn. LKW

Samurai Commando (IIA) (Japanese): A bizarre time-travel action epic about an elite military unit that returns to 1549 Japan. The soldiers try to rewrite history by waging a nuclear war against sword-wielding samurais. LKW

General Releases

A Bite of Love (I) (Thai or Cantonese versions): Thai melodrama about the friendship between a girl and a puppy  that sheds light on the plight  of abandoned children and stray dogs in contemporary society. Siwaporn Pongsuwan directs  this feature based on her own experience with a stray dog five years ago. CT

The Da Vinci Code (IIA): Based on Dan Brown's  best-selling novel, the film features Tom Hanks  as Professor Robert Langdon, who is called in to investigate the murder of a prominent curator at the Louvre Museum in Paris. With  the help of a cryptologist (Audrey Tautou),  he discovers hidden messages inside the works of Leonardo da Vinci that suggest  the Catholic Church covered  up facts about the legend of the Holy Grail. Ron Howard  directs. WC

Mission: Impossible III (IIB):  Tom Cruise returns as secret agent Ethan Hunt, who confronts an international arms dealer  played by Oscar-winner Philip Seymour Hoffman (Capote).  Also stars Michelle Monaghan  and Maggie Quigley. J.J. Abrams, the creator of TV series Lost and Alias, directs. CT

The Omen (IIB): The remake  of the 1976 horror classic features Liev Schreiber as an American diplomat whose adopted son Damien is the Antichrist. Julia Stiles plays the devil's adopted mother and Mia Farrow plays  the demonic nanny. CT

Poseidon (IIA): Wolfgang Peterson's remake of the 1972 disaster epic The Poseidon Adventure. Kurt Russell plays an ex-fireman and former mayor of New York who leads a band of passengers, including his daughter (Emmy Rossum), to safety from a capsized luxury cruise liner struck by a rogue wave. Also stars Josh Lucas and Jacinda Barrett. CT

Scary Movie 4 (IIB): 'They're coming. We need your support'  is the tagline of the fourth instalment in the horror-spoof franchise that continues to lampoon the latest box-office hits, horror movies, pop songs and celebrities - even Tr-iPods. Anna Faris, Craig Bierko and Shaquille O'Neal star. David Zucker directs. Not reviewed.

X-Men: The Last Stand (IIA):  A cure has been found that will transform the mutants into normal people. Some want to  give up their powers, and fit  into society, while others refuse  to relinquish their superhero identity. A war between the two groups ensues. Brett Ratner directs. Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Ian McKellen and  Anna Paquin star in the third  instalment of this cult franchise. WC

We Are Family (Cantonese) (IIA): Canto-pop star Hacken Lee  Hak-kan  stars in this romantic comedy as a man who must win the approval of his air-hostess girlfriend's over-protective  father (Alan Tam Wing-lun)   to marry her. LKW
