Modern technology is changing the way music is made and local rock trio The Darlings are taking full advantage of the options at their disposal.
'We do almost everything through the internet. This is the best way for us to work, and is
no different from a collaboration between three people from different countries,' says frontman Lam Chi-pong (left).
Lam believes The Darlings - who play garage rock in the style of US band The Strokes - would not exist if there was no internet or computer recording technology. 'It's really hard for us to find time to make and play music together. The three of us are too busy with our full-time jobs. Now we can do recording late at night in our own homes.
I record all our vocals in my bedroom.'
