On the topic of male singing groups, the Kassia Men's Chorus is back as well. This time they have the blues. The newest vocal collective in Katterwall director Bethan Greaves' music empire will be belting out old soul and gospel gems like Amazing Grace, Soul Man, Wade In the Water, as well as a few secular spirituals like As Time Goes By and I Heard It Through the Grapevine.

The 16-member choir will be singing at the Bohemian Lounge (G/F 3-5 Old Bailey Street, Central) tonight and tomorrow, starting at 8pm. Admission is $250, which includes a drink.

Greaves will also hold auditions for her autumn production of The Rocky Horror Show this Saturday at their Sheung Wan office on Jervois Street. The roles are up for grabs, including that of the transsexual from Transylvania, Dr Frank N.Furter.

It's to be directed by Adam West of Stylus Productions, with the music handled by Greaves; Arvin Robles will choreograph. Contact her at [email protected] or call 2575 3931 for details. The show will be staged in October at the Fringe Club.
