Charlie heads for Hollywood

The latest Hong Kong star to get into Hollywood's door is Charlie Yeung Choi-nei. It seems she was selected from a list of Asian actresses specifically by Nicolas Cage for a remake of the Pang brothers' first feature film Bangkok Dangerous.

Cage will play the role of a hitman in Thailand who pulls off a series of jobs for a woman and bonds with an errand boy. Yeung is reportedly to play the lead in her first Hollywood picture.

Maggie Quigley is said to also have a role in the film, tentatively retitled Time To Kill, again directed by Oxide Pang Chun and Danny Pang Fat.
