Sonia Samtani and Priscilla Chan (pictured at right) want to be clear: they're not running a dating agency. But the image consultants want to help hapless single gals with a two-day workshop this weekend called 'How to Attract the Right Man'. 'We're here to empower women to go out and get what they want,' Ms Samtani suggests. 'It's about eradicating the barriers that stop you from having the relationship you want.' The way the two Hong Kong-based facilitators describe it, the event (first of its kind in Hong Kong) sounds like a fun combination of inside-out makeover, relationship coaching and 'you go girl!' motivation rally. 'Our women friends are all like 'Oh, I want to be in a relationship, everyone's in one, why not me?' The fact is they're not comfortable with who they are and how they look.'
