Grasshopper's Edmond So Chi-wai has been so busy of late that he hasn't had time to attend to his business interests, but he might soon have a helping hand from his daughter, who's showing some early interest in finance.
The 40-year-old actor-singer, affectionately known as Boss So, was invited to speak at an education programme about entrepreneurship, and brought along his seven-year-old daughter, Yumi, and his wife, Winnie Lau Siu-wai (right).
'Yumi asked why people kept calling me boss. I explained what a boss was and how to be a good one,' he said. 'She likes entrepreneur games. Sometimes, I tell her investment concepts as we play.'
So has said to rely on his business partner and his wife to look after things because of his commitments to the group lately. After Grasshopper's Hong Kong concerts last month, So said they were going to embark on a world tour. To start with, the trio of So and brothers Calvin Choy Yat-chi and Remus Choy Yat-kit, will play Guangzhou in December.
In the meantime, they're busy finishing the demos for their upcoming album and preparing to record the music. 'However, we've also been busy on Calvin's wedding,' he said. 'We'll get back to it after that. We hope the CD will be out soon.'
Calvin Choy married his girlfriend, the mother of his five-month-old daughter, last Tuesday.
