Greedy shoes the right fit

From kicking butt with Michelle Yeoh Choo-kheng in her movies, Brandon Chang Cheuk-nam is now putting out his own kicks. The Canadian-born actor has started a new sneaker label rapidly gaining popularity. Selected by Yeoh to co-star in her movies, 2004's Silver Hawk and 2002's The Touch, Chang now runs the Greedy Genius label, a shoe fast gaining popularity after celebs like Justin Timberlake and the Black Eyed Peas were spotted sporting them.

'I started this brand about 11/2 to two years ago,' Chang (left)recalls.

'I've always been a fan of fashion, especially sneakers. I met up with a partner who'd already been doing fashion for many years. We had similar ideas about materials, colours and quality packaging. Currently, Greedy Genius is sold in premium boutiques throughout the US, Japan, Europe and is soon coming to Hong Kong.'

Does this mean the acting career is over? 'I've been asking myself that same question a lot. I really enjoyed acting. I'd love to do some indie film projects. So yes, I hope to come back soon.'
