Conductor Erich Kunzel is certainly making the most of his week with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra maestro is here to lead a show called Hollywood Spectacular, but since arriving on Sunday (after two gigs in Taipei), Kunzel has been lapping up the local cuisine. He's pictured here enjoying a feast of dim sum on Monday. On Tuesday, despite a typhoon signal No1 warning, he trekked out to Lei Yue Mun for seafood. Then on Wednesday, he visited Central's Yung Kee Restaurant for some roast goose. Of all the gastronomic delights, he said: 'Everything is wonderful. Absolutely wonderful.' Hopefully all that eating hasn't distracted him from the music. Kunzel's Hollywood Spectacular is tonight at 8pm at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium. Tickets are available from Urbtix, 2734 9009.
