Bands ready to battle

In other music news, the World final of the Battle of the Bands competition is tonight in Hong Kong. The eight finalists from eight different states will fight it out at a venue called Hot @ New Era in the New World Centre's East Wing, level three. The music starts at 9pm. Representing Hong Kong is a Brit-pop and punk-inspired three-piece group called The Train. They will have tough shoes to fill as last year's local finalists, Qiu Hong, won the grand title. Tickets are HK$250 at the door.
