Explore the human body
An exhibition at the Science Museum in Tsim Sha Tsui allows visitors to pretend to be aliens, and discover the mysteries of the human body.
Running until April 8 next year, Mission Earthling is based on the idea of an alien learning to adapt to life on Earth after morphing into a human.
Visitors, assuming the identity of the alien-turned-earthling, are introduced to the different functions of human organs and workings of human reproductive, neurotic and circulatory systems.
The exhibition enables visitors to learn about human physiology in a fun way.
'The functioning of various human organs involves principles of biochemistry and physics.
'Through a series of interesting interactive exhibits, visitors will know how complicated the web of biological systems is inside a human body,' said Thomas Chow Tat-ming, director of leisure and cultural services of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
