A video competition invites local teens  to portray vibrant city life.

Co-organised by Hong Kong Education City, the Education and Manpower Bureau and Shun Hing Technology Company, the competition  gives students a chance to  express their love for the city.

Last year's competition  saw 300 entries  by students from 200 schools.

The competition is open to secondary and primary students.

In groups of two to six,  students are required to produce a five-minute video to show Hong Kong's cultural characteristics.

Workshops on video-making skills hosted by media professionals will be organised for participants.

Competition winners will be awarded video-making equipment sponsored by Shun Hing Technology Company.

The deadline for applications is January 19.  All entries must be submitted before the end of April.
