If you like hard-boiled dames and private dicks, then Murder At Cafe Noir is the show for you. Perilous Mouths' newest piece of dinner theatre is a whodunnit with a cynical detective, a murder and a millionaire's femme fatale daughter. However, it's all played for laughs and it's interactive, with the best crime-solving audience member winning a prize. 'What makes this play special is that it's kind of tongue-in-cheek,' said lead actress Moe Moss. 'Real film noirs are kind of serious, but this play has fun with it in a very gentle way.' Meanwhile, co-star Scott Anderson will be channelling the spirit of Humphrey Bogart. 'In terms of the overall direction, it's been quite liberal. We can ad-lib. We'll actually mingle with the crowd, so you've got to be prepared for potential hecklers and people who might want to get more involved.' The show starts at 7.30pm tonight at Post 97 and continues until March 23 at venues including the Foreign Correspondents' Club, Madison's, Le Rideau Theatre Cafe, Dynasty Club and the Hong Kong and Kowloon Cricket Club.
