H&M strikes a pose with shades for debut

With billboards and ads plastered all over town, Swedish retail giant Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) is pulling out all stops to promote the opening of its first Hong Kong store, which features a clothing line designed by a certain pop diva. To make Saturday's debut extra crazy, H&M plans to give a free pair of M By Madonna sunglasses to the first 500 customers who push through the doors at 11am. Originally, store managers were planning to give away a few autographed Madonna Collection coats, but they reconsidered after realising the mob scene that stunt might create. No purchase is necessary to get your free sunglasses, but don't be cheap and leave the moment you grab your pair of shades, okay? H&M is located at 68 Queen's Road Central.
