Royal Phuket Marina held a cocktail party at the Four Seasons Hotel's Peak Suite recently to celebrate the launch of its new properties at the Thai resort.
The brainchild of tycoon and developer Gulu Lalvani, who owns Royal Phuket Marina, the buildings feature private yacht berths within the homes. All 66 luxury condominiums and penthouses in phase one of the project have already been bought.
At the party the hotel suite was decorated with images of the marina and a large model of its signature Aqauminium condos with the boat berths.
About 80 friends and potential investors joined Lalvani at the event. They included chairman of CB Richard Ellis Thailand David Simister, Bloomberg's Stephen Engle, architect Chandu Chhadha, head of BBVA Bank Asia Stephen Withers, and head of Trading and Timber Hill Securities Hong Kong Alan Crawley.
