In case you're wondering, Maggie Q's Asia's hottest vegetarian

It's official. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has announced that Maggie Q has won the month-long online poll as Asia's Sexiest Vegetarian. Apparently the Die Hard 4.0 villainess narrowly defeated Bollywood babe Mahima Chaudhry and Taiwan idol Barbie Hsu Hsi-huan in the open vote at GoVeg.com. As Peta's Asia-Pacific director Jason Baker boasted: 'Going vegetarian is the best thing that you can do for animals, the Earth and your health. Plus, there's no easier way to stay slim and sexy... Maggie is living proof.'

How timely for Peta to announce the results now, since the third Die Hard sequel is released this week. Incidentally, non-Asians who topped the sexy salad eater survey include Natalie Portman, Joaquin Phoenix, Tobey Maguire, Joss Stone and Josh Hartnett.

Yeah, it's a bit of a slow news day.
