Actor Sam Lee shows he takes his music seriously

Mild-mannered actor Sam Lee Chan-sum turned into funky DJ Becareful on Friday. Kicking off a three-night bash sponsored by Scotch distiller Chivas, Lee joined fellow celeb Remus Choy Yat-kit from Grasshopper as guest DJs for the late-night party and fashion show. Although he's not about to quit his movie career, Lee takes his music seriously.

'I was preparing the music for the show until 5am yesterday morning,' Lee said after his stint in the DJ booth. 'It was a bit dead at the beginning. I guess people came in thinking it was only a fashion show so they didn't really dance, but 30 minutes later the vibe was a lot better. Actually, I cheated a bit tonight because I used a computer programme to help out a bit during the fashion show.'

Lee had a special interest in the evening's fashion presentation. The models were showing off outfits from his own street label, Subcrew. The result was beyond his expectation. 'I was surprised that Lisa Selesner and Ana Rivera looked so hot even though they wore some of our guys' clothing line. I guess that's because they are models.'
