In Hong Kong pop culture, Andy Lau Tak-wah is known as one of the 'four heavenly kings' as a singer. But he was also known as one of the 'five tigers' as a young actor in TVB dramas in the 1980s. A new film called Brothers will reunite him with three of the other tigers - Michael Miu Kiu-wai, Ken Tong Chun-yip and Felix Wong Yat-wah (the fifth tiger, Tony Leung Chiu-wai is obviously busy with other movies).

Lau joined the others, as well as younger co-star Eason Chan Yik-shun (right with Lau), for a press conference at the Tuen Mun Town Plaza on Wednesday to premiere the movie's theme song, for which Chan wrote the music and Lau the lyrics. When sound problems affected the showing of the video, Lau suggested they should just sing it live. Despite the two fumbling through an unrehearsed version, the forgiving crowd still roundly applauded their effort. Maybe the fact that Lau turned 46 yesterday won him extra sympathy. 'I want to stay young and look good with good health,' Lau said as the others presented him with a giant cake and birthday wishes. As the youngster of the group, Chan described acting with the four veterans as a dream come true. 'I used to watch many of the five tigers' TV dramas when I was a kid. It was so much fun on set,' he said. Brothers will be released on October 18.
