Exceptional senior form students could work with distinguished local and overseas academic experts this summer.

Co-organised by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and Savantas Policy Institute, the Talented Youth Summer Programme 2008 runs from July 13 to August 3.

Taught by faculty members from HKUST and Stanford University, the programme consists of courses in critical thinking, and science and technology.

Classroom lectures, lab sessions, city exploration tours and educational visits will be arranged to help students develop their full potential.

At the launch conference last month, HKUST vice-president for academic affairs Roland Chan said the programme would prepare students for future challenges.

'Students will be recruited from around the world. The extraordinary students will be encouraged to explore and develop their full potential,' said Mr Chan.
