Someone with strong character, contacts and experience will shine in this major position
This is a key role in the high-end luxury industry and not for the faint-hearted.
Boucheron, part of the Gucci group, seeks a strong boutique manager to head up the teams in its flagship boutiques at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hong Kong and the Venetian in Macau.
'We want somebody who has some experience selling expensive products and knows who buys them; somebody who can arrive in the store and take their phone out and start making appointments with potential new clients,' said Dimitri Kaczorowski, chief executive of the Haussman Group, distributor of Boucheron for Hong Kong, Macau and mainland China.
The boutique manager would be responsible for sales, stock level, customer satisfaction, training and staff motivation of the stores, and would basically be in charge of a 'micro-company', and running it 'like an independent profit centre', Mr Kaczorowski said.
This position is important to the company and should be headed by a strong leader and a great salesperson who enjoys socialising as well as making sales.
