Elle fashion editor set to promote her style guide at book signing

You've seen her on TV's Project Runway as the highly critical (but not quite Simon Cowell in terms of vitriolic bitchiness) judge of aspiring fashion designers. Next month, the fashion editor of Elle magazine, Nina Garcia (below), will visit Beijing and Hong Kong to preview her first book, The Little Black Book of Style.

It's a definitive guide to what Garcia thinks is timeless and classic in the fashion world where, as her Emmy-nominated show's host, Heidi Klum, says every week, 'in fashion, one day you're in and the next you could be out'.

For clothes fanatics who want to score a thumbs-up from arguably one of the most influential figures in the field at present, Garcia will be here to sign books at Lane Crawford on March 11 at 6pm and then fly to Beijing for another meet-and-greet on March 13.
