Warning on fake HSBC internet site

The Monetary Authority issued a warning to the public not to release their personal details on a fraudulent website - business.hsbc.com.fkiiert. mobi/system_directory/isa/file.aspx?session - which is hyperlinked in an e-mail purporting to have been sent from the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation and looks similar to the bank's internet banking logon webpage. HSBC said yesterday that it had not sent those e-mails to customers and had reported the matter to police.
